Aston Villa has announced the renewal of their partnership with global video games company, Electronic Arts Inc reaffirming EA SPORTS as the Club’s official football action game partner.

This is just one of the many partnership announcements EA Sports have made for FIFA 14 in recent weeks. Previous partnerships include Liverpool FC, Southampton, Everton, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, FC Barcelona and five clubs from La Liga.

To celebrate, fans will be able to download a special FIFA 14 in-game graphic wallpaper featuring Christian Benteke, Gabby Agbonlahor, Ciaran Clark and Fabian Delph, available in sizes for PC and iPhone™.

As part of the partnership, a special Aston Villa FIFA 14 cover will also be available for supporters to download for free when the game is launched on Friday September 27. The cover will feature three Aston Villa stars and a limited number will be professionally printed for giveaways on the EA Sports Dugout.

Dan Holman, Head of UK Product Marketing, EA Sports said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Aston Villa for two years. Our fans are so passionate and we love working with the Club to engage with them through FIFA. There are plenty of exciting initiatives for fans again this season and we look forward to a successful season together“.

Aston Villa Chief Executive Paul Faulkner said: “We have been delighted by our partnership with EA SPORTS for the past two seasons and the renewal of this commitment for a further two years is very pleasing. EA Sports leads the market in sporting games, particularly football games, and many of our supporters and indeed our players enjoy playing its FIFA games. The mutual benefits of our partnership are self-evident and we look forward to continuing to work together.

Supporters will be able to try out the brand-new game on launch weekend when the popular EA Sports Dugout makes a return to Villa Park for the match against Manchester City. There will be prize giveaways and mini tournaments held on the day so get down early to the stadium.
