Camp Nou Stadium is Back to FIFA 14

Camp Nou Stadium is Back to FIFA 14

After one year without Camp Nou, this stadium is back to FIFA 14.

Camp Nou Stadium is Back to FIFA 14

Last year, one of the most wanted stadiums was not included in the game. FIFA 13 did not have the Camp Nou as one of its stadiums. EA Sports did not get the licensing agreement with Barcelona and tried to hide this failure with other great additions, as the King Fahd Stadium and the White Hart Lane.

It was a bit strange not having the Camp Nou in FIFA 13. First because Barcelona is one of the better clubs of the Europe and Camp Nou one of the most beautiful stadiums. Then because Messi had (and still have) the leading role in FIFA promotion. He appeared in the cover of FIFA 13 with a different stadium on the background.

Now, everything is different. EA Sports got the license to include the Camp Nou Stadium into FIFA 14 and they are willing to do it the better they can. They made a great job with it as you can see in the intro videos of the next-gen consoles.

For who don’t know, Camp Nou is a football stadium in Barcelona, which has been the home of Futbol Club Barcelona since 1957. After being renovated in 2008, Camp Nou has now 99,786 seats, which makes it the largest stadium in Europe.

  1. Its good to see it back in the game i missed the Nou Camp would like to see more licenses stadiums in the game for the next game

  2. i heard that the corinthians stadium will be in the game this years as it is hosting the opener of the world cup also i really want the maracana to be in the game

  3. Brazilian stadiums probably gonna show up in the future. EA can do a expansion ‘stand alone’ of World Cup. If I’m not wrong they already did that in the past, but for the normal game, the brazilian league players you be happy if they cacth all times licensed.

  4. We need the following stadiums added

    Alvalade sporting
    Dragao Porto
    Luz Benfica
    AXA Braga
    Maracana brazil
    Home Depot LA Galaxy
Red bull stadium NY Red Bulls
    Ibrox scotland

    1. Hi.
How are you ? It’s hot in Algarve, right now?
We agree with you. Maracana, for example, is been asking for almost all the FIFA community. Unfortunately, we think that none of those stadiums will be added in FIFA 14. One thing you may be sure: none of the four portuguese stadiums will be added. Portuguese community is not much important to EA Sports as you know. Where is the Liga Portuguesa TOTS?!
      Regards

    1. Probably. But don’t forget that with Ignite the stadiums will have higher detail which means that it will be more difficult to have more stadiums.
We will bring here everything about it.

  5. Getting pissed every year again.
Just 1 Dutch ”stadium” and that’s the ArenA?
Just.. why? Where is Stadion Feyenoord?
UEFA Cup Final Stadium 2002, and the stadium where the Dutch Trophy final (KNVB Beker) is hold in.
    Ridiculous!

  6. c’mon Fifa you need the Maracana, Celtic Park, Ibrox, Goodison park and The EstĂ¡dio da Luz – The champions league final is being played there for god sake!

  7. Jorge Van de Sande

Ghelamco Arena – KAA Gent, the most beautiful stadium of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, please. It would be a reason for a lot of Belgian Fifa-players to buy the new version of the game!

  8. How much time does it really take for EA to create and model a stadium?

EA claim that it’s a massive undertaking involving lots of photo’s being taken at the stadium, so why don’t they outsource the stadium creation? They have the budget to do so. Then they could include all the Premiership stadiums plus many other major ones not currently in Fifa.

  9. Yeah, Ghelamco Arena from Kaa Gent ( my hometown ) is the best looking stadium of the Belgian League !

  10. I’m from australia and since they’ve brought in the a-league in 09′ I’ve been waiting for ea to put at least one of our stadiums in. Looks like its not gonna happen for a while. I mean why is there a Saudi stadium but no AUSSIE statium?

  11. They should add more stadiums, from countries with maybe not so much exposure. For example not having a stadium from Portugal, like Dragao or Da Luz,it is not ok.From Holland you only have Arena.Belgium doesn’t have a stadium also,a bit strange considering the fact that they had Constant Vanden Stock in the past.
Maybe I am bias, but National Arena is a beautifull stadium and it was the host of the 2011 Euro Cup final. And everybody was impressed with it and the acoustic. And many more examples.
In the future they should look into adding more stadiums from different countries.

  12. Annoyed Geordie

Why is St James Park still called the Sports Direct Arena? I mean they only changed it backa year and half ago, come on get it sorted. A little sound patch will fix it. Even use your old sound from 3 years ago. It’s offensive to mags the world over to have it called SDA still.
