EA already picked the best players of the week. The players names were unveiled this Wednesday at 3pm UK.
On Saturday, Robert Lewandowski scored two of Bayern’s three goals as they comfortably defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0. With a 10 point lead and only six matches remaining, the defending champions look destined to wrap up another Bundesliga title in the next three weeks.
It was a very busy week for Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke. Following a hat-trick in Tuesday evening’s 3-3 draw with Queens Park Rangers, he had the match-winner in their 0-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur. With Villa looking to avoid relegation, fans of the club are hoping this run of form can continue.
Manchester United easily defeated their cross-town rivals Manchester City 4-2 on Sunday afternoon, effectively eliminating City’s hopes of retaining the Premier League title. Ashley Young was outstanding for his club, finishing the match with a goal and two assists. This Saturday, United look to extend their four match winning streak as they visit Stamford Bridge and face off against first place Chelsea.
