EA already picked the best players of the week. The players names were unveiled this Wednesday at 3pm UK.
In MLS action, the Philadelphia Union comfortably defeated the visiting Portland Timbers 3-0 to stay in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Vincent Nogueira scored twice while team mate Cristian Maidanda helped set-up all three of the club’s goals.
Staying in the MLS, Sunday saw New York City FC and Toronto FC play out to a 4-4 draw. The highlight of the match was Sebastian Giovinco’s three goals and an assist for Toronto FC.
Also on Sunday, Argentina’s Primera División restarted the season following their one month break. One of the highlights of the weekend was Nacho Scocco, who scored twice as Newell’s Old Boys defeated Racing Club 3-0.
