Football Club 26 Release Date
FC 26 marks the third installment in the new football simulation series developed by Electronic Arts. With cutting-edge graphics, refined gameplay mechanics, and a host of new features, FC 26 aims to elevate the virtual football experience for fans around the world.
The game is scheduled to launch on Friday, September 26, 2025, following the same release pattern as its predecessor, which was released on Friday, September 27, 2024.
The FC community is eagerly awaiting the new title, which will support again cross-play between different consoles, a key feature in the next-gen experience. Versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are also planned, ensuring backward compatibility for players who haven’t upgraded to newer hardware.
Nintendo Switch players have something special to look forward to as well. FC 26 will be the first EA Sports football title available on the new Nintendo Switch 2. As with the previous year, the game will launch in two editions for this console.
The release is expected to be synchronized globally across all platforms, meaning players in the UK, Europe, the United States, Australia, Japan, and other regions will be able to access the game on the same day.
For Ultimate Team fans, early access will be available through the FC 26 Web App, anticipated to launch on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, for returning players. The Companion App will follow one day later, offering mobile access to squad management and transfers well ahead of the official release.
Another early access option is through an EA Play subscription. For a small monthly fee, subscribers can start playing FC 26 as early as September 19, 2025, the same day Ultimate Edition buyers gain full access.
With multiple early access options and a unified global launch, EA Sports FC 26 promises to kick off the football gaming season in style.
