Ultimate Scream returns to FC 26, bringing back one of the community’s favorite events. This spooky celebration shines a light on the hidden sides of football’s biggest stars, introducing evolving player items, themed challenges, and special Halloween rewards.
Player Items now evolve with the full moon cycle. Across two major phases, they receive permanent upgrades: the Beaver Moon on November 5 adds Role+ boosts, and the Cold Moon on December 4 adds Role++ boosts to all main and alternate positions. On the day of each full moon, these items also gain a temporary 99 rating in one random attribute for seven days, adding an extra touch of mystery to every squad.
Ultimate Scream also includes six Halloween-themed Puzzle SBCs inspired by classic Scream players, alongside new End of an Era, World Tour, and Player of the Month challenges for Liga F and LALIGA EA SPORTS. Players can create “Frankensteined” favorites with new Evolutions based on past Scream legends and customize their teams with new cosmetic options such as Change your Design, Animated VFX, Embellishment, and special Halloween Badges.
Beyond SBCs and Evolutions, the event brings back Challengers for lower-division players, introduces the third Ultimate Gauntlet competition, and features the Champs Excellence and Season Excellence tournaments. Halloween also takes over House Rules with the new Screamers Tournament, where every long-range goal counts double, as well as multiple Flash Ultimate Scream Rush events in 5-a-side football.
This year’s Ultimate Scream blends creativity, competition, and chaos, offering fans a thrilling way to celebrate football under the light of the full moon.
Throughout the two-week Ultimate Scream campaign, two specially themed teams of players will be released. The first team becomes available on October 24, while the second team will launch one week later. By participating in the campaign, you can acquire these players through SBCs, Objectives, Rush, and Evolutions, ensuring that your Football Ultimate Team is well-equipped to compete at the highest level.
