The community has spoken, and the very best goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers have been chosen. To celebrate this prestigious recognition, FC 26 Ultimate Team introduces special Team of the Year In Form player items.
EA shortlisted dozens of players who defined the last 12 months of football and invited the community to help decide the ultimate XI. From commanding goalkeepers and dominant defenders to midfield maestros and elite attackers, the final Team of the Year is shaped by both community votes and EA selection.
The final Team of the Year was revealed on January 15, with exclusive Player Items released into FC 26 Ultimate Team. These items feature some of the highest ratings of the season, reflecting each player’s status as one of the very best in world football.
Team of the Year also celebrates excellence across both Men’s and Women’s football, with two world class squads taking centre stage. These elite items are among the first this season to feature triple PlayStyle+ attributes, highlighting the exceptional year these players have delivered.
Alongside the squads, Team of the Year brings a wide range of content across Evolutions, Squad Building Challenges, and Objectives. Expect TOTY themed Flashback SBCs honouring past winners, as well as the return of TOTY ICONs, special items celebrating legendary careers that once defined Team of the Year selections.
