Welcome to the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series, The Road to FIFA eWorld Cup! In this page you will find everything you need to know about this competition.

About the EA Sports FIFA 21 Global Series

The EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series is where the top FIFA players in the world prove themselves as the best of the best.

This season, players will compete against one another in regional tournaments over several months. The top-performing players will be invited to compete in their respective Regional Playoffs at the end of the year. You can watch long-time professional FIFA players like Tekkz, Msdossary, nicolas99fc, and more representing teams like Fnatic, Man City Esports, and FaZe Clan against up-and-coming challengers who want to prove they can go toe-to-toe with the best.

If you can’t get enough of your favourite football club, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to support them in FIFA too, as over 30 domestic leagues will run their own esports tournament featuring the top players in their country. Some of the leagues included are the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga, and Major League Soccer.

The top-performing players who competed in regional tournaments and domestic leagues will qualify onto the Regional Playoffs at the end of the season to crown the FIFA 21 Global Series Regional Champion.

How to Qualify

Before moving forward with anything in the FIFA 21 Global Series, you must register and agree to the Official Rules. You can register from October 9th, 2020 to December 31st, 2020. Registration will close at 11:59 PM PST on December 31st, 2020 and no new entrants to the FIFA 21 Global Series will be accepted after this time.

Registered players need to prove that they are an elite competitor to earn their entry into the FIFA 21 Global Series by reaching the Elite 1 rank in FUT Champions. Registered players can become FUT Champions Verified by winning 27 games in a single Weekend League. Once players achieve Verified status, they are eligible to play in Online Regional Cups for the rest of the season. Players can become verified from playing Weekend Leagues through December 31st, 2020.

FUT Champions Verified players will play head-to-head in Online Regional Cups throughout the season. These double elimination knockout tournaments will take place 3 – 5 times in each region and players will compete to earn Global Series Points based on their placements. The top-ranked players at the end of the season will move on to the Regional Playoffs.

The top-ranked players in the Global Series Rankings in each region will earn their place at the Regional Playoffs. The Regional Playoffs will crown the best FIFA 21 player in each region.

Event Types

There are three types of events in FIFA 21:

Online Regional Cups
Online Regional Cups are double elimination knockout tournaments open to all FUT Champions Verified players. Each cup has a maximum of 1024 participants. The top placing players in each tournament will earn Global Series Points. You can find the Global Series Rankings on fifa.gg.

Leagues
Over thirty football leagues offer an esports program in partnership with their clubs. Players in each league compete for the chance to represent their club and team at the Regional Playoffs at the end of the season. As individual leagues announce their program, they will be added to this page.

Regional Playoffs
The top-ranking players in the region and top finishing players from each league will meet in the Regional Playoffs and compete for the title of Regional Champion.

Schedule

This year’s first Online Qualifier will begin late November or December in each region to give players more time to get accustomed to the new game. Each Qualifier will take place over one weekend. In some cases, players will stop play to be continued on broadcast two weeks later. This will be communicated before the tournament begins.
