FC 27 Destined for Glory Event
Destined for Glory spotlights players expected to make a major impact this football season. The campaign was shaped by votes in the EA SPORTS FC 27 Ratings Database, with Kylian Mbappé, Morgan Rogers, Pernille Harder, and other selected players receiving special live Player Items.
These items can earn upgrades based on their performances in their domestic leagues during the 2026/27 season. The milestones depend on the player’s position. Attacking players are upgraded for their combined goals and assists, while defensive players are upgraded for their team’s clean sheets.
- Attacking players (CM, CAM, LW, LM, RW, RM, ST):
- 3 combined goals and assists: +1 Shooting and Passing
- 6 combined goals and assists: +1 PlayStyle
- 10 combined goals and assists: +1 OVR
- 20 combined goals and assists: +1 OVR
- Defensive players (RB, LB, CB, CDM):
- 2 clean sheets: +1 Defending and Physical
- 4 clean sheets: +1 PlayStyle
- 6 clean sheets: +1 OVR
- 10 clean sheets: +1 OVR
Upgrade tracking starts on September 25, 2026, and runs throughout the 2026/27 domestic season. If a player leaves their current club, including through a transfer or loan, they will no longer be eligible for upgrades. Goals and assists are based on Opta data and count towards the same milestone. For a clean sheet to count, the player must feature in the match, either as a starter or as a substitute.
The campaign also brings new ways to earn rewards and improve your squad. In the long-range Destined for Glory Exhibition, you can make up to ten attempts each day and complete Objectives, including playing three matches with a Destined for Glory Player Item. During the second week, the first Ultimate Gauntlet of FC 27 introduces two rounds, with ten daily attempts to enter and Objectives based on playing and winning matches.
Destined for Glory also features two Rush Events, including a themed Flash Rush Event in the second week. Across the two-week campaign, you can earn free Evolutions, including one Training Camp Evolution each week, as well as an Evolution consumable from Ultimate Gauntlet that lets you repeat an existing Evolution. Regular and Premium Destined for Glory Badges are available through the Event Objectives.
Destined for Glory Player Items are based on performances in the 2026/27 domestic season only.
