Future Stars arrives earlier than ever in Football Club 27, celebrating the next generation of football talent as they begin to establish themselves in the real world. The campaign introduces special live Player Items that can earn upgrades through domestic-league performances, while Future Stars Academy lets you develop a young prospect through a dedicated Evolution path.
FC 27 Future Stars Event
The FC 27 Future Stars event shines a light on some of football’s most exciting young players. Future Stars Team 1 is headlined by Rio Ngumoha, one of England’s most promising talents. After being one of the most popular Future Stars Academy players in FC 26, Ngumoha returns as part of a new generation of stars in the making from across the world of football.
Unlike standard promotional items, FC 27 Future Stars players can receive live upgrades based on their domestic-league performances. Starts, goals, assists and clean sheets can all contribute towards improvements, with separate paths for attacking and midfield players, defenders and goalkeepers.
Future Stars Upgrades
Future Stars live upgrades are based on domestic league match performance only. The requirements differ for players from the NWSL, MLS, Liga MX and Liga Profesional de Fútbol, whose domestic seasons follow a different calendar.

ATT/MID: CM, CAM, LW, LM, RW, RM and ST.
DEF/GK: GK, RB, LB, CB and CDM.
* The player must feature in the match for a clean sheet to count towards the upgrade objective.
* A player who already has one PlayStyle+ will receive +1 base PlayStyle instead.
* A player who already has 5★ Weak Foot will receive 5★ Skill Moves instead.
Tracking begins on 9 October, while the live upgrades are scheduled to be released on 3 February. Only domestic league performances count towards the objectives.
The first team goes out on October 09, and the second team one week later.
Future Stars Academy
Future Stars Academy returns in FC 27, allowing you to turn a present-day prodigy into a ready-made superstar. Select an eligible striker or central attacking midfielder born on or after 9 October 2003, enrol them in the Academy and progress through four dedicated Academy Evolutions.
A Future Stars Academy Objective will also be available during the campaign, rewarding you for playing matches with your Future Stars Academy Player Item. It is a chance to create a personalised Future Star while following their development throughout the event.

The PlayStyle Lab evolves during Future Stars Week 2 with the introduction of the PlayStyle+ Lab. The first UEFA Star Performers eligible for PlayStyle+ upgrades are scheduled to arrive from 17 October.
Every week of Future Stars will bring a new Live Event. Week 1 introduces the Back to Basics Exhibition, which locks teams into the 4-4-2 formation. Week 2 brings the second Ultimate Gauntlet in FC 27 alongside a new Flash Rush Event.
A range of Squad Building Challenges will also be released throughout Future Stars, including Player SBCs, Puzzle SBCs and further reward opportunities.
