EA already picked the best players of the week.
The players names were unveiled this Wednesday at 3pm UK.
On Saturday, Kekuta Manneh scored a fantastic goal as the Vancouver Whitecaps defeated the Philadelphia Union 2-3. Philadelphia’s Roland Alberg opened the scoring early, with Vancouver answering back with three goals, including Manneh’s goal that gave his side the 1-2 lead.
Then on Sunday, Diego Valeri played a part in all three of Portland’s goals as they came back to beat the Houston Dynamo 3-2. The Dynamo had a 0-2 lead heading into the second half, but two penalty goals for Valeri in the last ten minutes of the match gave the homeside three important points.
Jeonbuk Motors still sit atop the K-League Classic standings following their 1-1 match with Gwangju FC on Sunday. Lee Dong-Gook scored for the visitors in the 19th minute with Gwangju’s Jung Jo-Gook leveling the scoring in the 84th minute.
