The first Details of EA SPORTS FIFA 22

EA SPORTS FIFA 22 is the 28th installment in the FIFA series and will be released on October 1, 2021. If you are as excited as we are, you probably will want to know the first details about the new title. Pre-orders, release date and the differences between the two editions.

Gameplay

The new FIFA video game was officially announced on July 11. On that date, Electronic Arts published a reveal trailer showing the HyperMotion gameplay technology that will be used in the next-gen versions. It promises to revolutionize football gameplay, capturing real-world matches and using machine learning to create organic football realism across a variety of interactions on the pitch. 4,000 new animations will raise the footballing intensity, responsiveness, and physicality of every player in the game.

According to the official press release, the game will feature more than 17,000 players, 700 teams and 90 stadiums in over 30 leagues. You will be able to play for the first time ever in the brand new UEFA Europa Conference League, as well as UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga Santander, CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana and much more.

Release Date

As we already said, FIFA 22 officially launches worldwide on Friday 1st October across PlayStation 5, Xbox Serie X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch (legacy edition). However, there are a few ways to try it first before that date. It’s true that it is not confirmed if a Demo version will be released or not, due to Covid situation, but those who subscribe to the EA Play program, will be able to play the trial (there is a 10 hours total limit of gameplay) from September 22, the same exact date in which returning players may start using the FUT Web App.

The most expensive edition will also give access to the full game, without any limitation, four days earlier. It’s a good option for those who can’t wait until the release date and want to start playing as soon as possible.
